SLP provides scholarships to first-generation women of color. We also serve as a repository of “la primera” stories to share and inspire other young women.
We hope to soon be able to pair our scholarship recipients with “la primera” mentors. Our hope is that our scholarship recipients will become future “la primera” mentors.
We also hope to soon be able to send “la primera” speakers into schools to inspire future “primeras.”
